Daily Schedule:
Start/End Times are between 8:00 am - 1:30 pm
Hours:
Approximately 30 minutes to 2 hours per day - based on school site needs

BASIC FUNCTION:
The purpose of a Campus Monitor is to monitor the activities and behavior of students on school grounds during non-instructional periods to ensure a positive and safe environment. This job reports to a Principal. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. ENTRANCE QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or equivalent is desirable and one of the following:
Any other combination of education, training, and experience that could likely provide the desired skills, knowledge, and abilities may be considered.
KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES: KNOWLEDGE OF: Age appropriate behavior.
Basic first aid procedures.
Basic cleaning methods.
Cultural differences of student population. School safety and security practices.
ABILITY TO: Adapting to changing work priorities.
Displaying tact and courtesy.
Enforcing school rules in an assertive, equitable, and consistent manner.
Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with others.
Explaining and following rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
Maintaining confidentiality. Working

Working with interruptions.
PHYSICAL ABILITIES:

Standing for extended periods of time; walking long distances; bending at the waist to assist students;

dexterity of hands and fingers to demonstrate activities and prepare materials.
LICENSE:
Possess and maintain a valid First Aid Certificate is desirable.
Salary : $21 - $25
