Summary :
Responsible for providing support to the assigned sales team members for proposal and change order creation as well as ancillary support for RFP creation. The Proposal Specialist supports the organization in all aspects of proposal and change order duties. Proposal Specialists are to act within prescribed parameters to execute administrative policies determined by the firm by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following but are not limited to :
- Work closely with assigned VP, Sales / Account Executives, and internal project teams to format, decipher and produce proposals.
- Assist in creating standards for our template environment inside the proprietary software system.
- Ensure that consistency with various components of the process and proposals themselves are met, maintained, and enforced.
- Proofread and quality control all documents and associated work in correlation to the proposal / change order process.
- Review proposals (when deemed necessary) with the Sales, Account Executives, Scope Reviewers, or Code Analysts for any corrections, additions / deletions and send finalized documents out to appropriate parties.
- Maintain and ensure the integrity of the WAVE and files / artifacts as related to proposals / change orders and other requested projects.
- Timely follow up internally and / or with the client (when assigned) for outstanding proposals / change orders and / or questions and clarity of the scope of work and execution of proposal / change order to proceed with the fulfillment of services.
- Management of "Cold Colds" when the sales team is unavailable.
- Assisting existing clients with "New Projects" - by vetting, reviewing & determining scope, receiving drawings (when available) & crafting the proposals.
- Assisting new clients in understanding what Milrose offers related to their needs, insight, and review of scope & crafting proposals.
- Responding to client requests for updates on their project status when the team is unavailable or unresponsive, and following escalation plan when there are client complaints.
- Training & Cross-Training Client Services Department members and new hires on proposals and change orders.
- Mentor new hires and support the corporation with other initiatives with employee onboarding.
- Client Services Ticket coverage. Minor Contracts coverage (as assigned). And any other tasks as delegated by your manager / supervisor.

This is a full-time hybrid position, regularly scheduled for at least 40 hours per week. Our office hours are Monday through Friday 8 : 30am-5pm.
Compensation and Benefits
Milrose Consultants, LLC is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Ranges are determined through alignment with market data. Base offers are determined by several factors including the candidate's experience, qualifications, and skills.
Hourly Range : $36.06 - $40.87 USD
