Our client is looking for a Radiographic Technologist. The Radiographic Technologist is responsible for performing professional duties involved in a variety of technical procedures, utilizing prescribed ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis in patients of all ages. Position : Radiographic Technologist
Compensation : $25-$38 per hour
Location : Roanoke, VA
Key Responsibilities :
Perform diagnostic radiological procedures with accuracy and professionalism, ensuring compliance with Imaging Services / Departmental Guidelines.
Assess patients appropriately before, during, and after radiological procedures.
Operate specialized equipment, including radiographic units, Digital Radiography (DR) systems, and the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
Administer IV contrast injections, urinary catheterizations, and other technical skills as required by departmental standards.
Contribute to the training and mentorship of students and staff as assigned.
Foster a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment for patients and their families.
Qualifications :
Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
Previous experience preferred but not required.
ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) registered or registry-eligible.
Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (AHA BLS-HCP) certification required.
Effective interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
Successful completion of orientation and competency validation for the position.
