Job Summary
We are seeking an entry level and dedicated Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical knowledge and experience in auto body repair, with the ability to perform various tasks related to vehicle restoration and maintenance. This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the capability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform auto body repair tasks including welding, fabrication, and assembly of vehicle components.
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to assess damage and determine necessary repairs.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions.
- Execute heavy lifting tasks as required for the repair and restoration of vehicles.
- Apply auto estimating techniques to provide accurate assessments of repair costs.
- Work with sheet metal to fabricate parts as needed for vehicle restoration projects.
- Solder components when necessary to ensure proper functionality and safety standards are met.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
Experience
- Entry level position with Tech School training.
- Familiarity with welding techniques and sheet metal work is highly desirable.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to assemble and disassemble vehicle parts efficiently.
- Experience in auto restoration projects will be considered an asset.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks associated with vehicle repairs.
