Your Tasks:
Design, test, troubleshoot and characterize instrument components and/or microfluidics devices for automated biological analysis.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with senior engineers to design instrument automation mechanism or microfluid devices.
- Create and maintain CAD models and drawings of parts and assemblies.
- Use in-house 3D printer or work with 3rd party vendor for rapid prototyping.
- Plan and conduct experiments for prototype testing.
- Create or modify python scripts for automated testing.
- Document testing processing and result.
- Present result in engineering group meetings.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in CAD software (Solid Edge preferred)
- Programing skill (Python preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software (Words, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Team oriented
- Work independently
