SUMMARY: General education preschool teacher is responsible for all aspects of planning, assessing and instructing students, based on needs of each child, and other requirements as assigned. The teacher is also responsible for maintaining program quality and documentation.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Required:
•Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with Early Childhood (ZA or ZS) endorsement
• 3-5 years preschool classroom teaching experience including students who qualify for special education.
Preferred:
• Master’s degree in related field
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, and REGISTRATIONS
• Possess valid and current Michigan teaching certificate
• Certification as a teacher of students with specific endorsement as approved by the Michigan State Board of Education
