The Milton Early Childhood Program seeks a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator or Early Childhood Special Educator to join our inclusive and child-centered program. The ideal candidate is someone who:

Is committed to fostering the social, emotional, and academic growth of young children;
Demonstrates an understanding of the Vermont Early Learning Standards and Teaching Strategies Gold assessment;
Demonstrates proficiency in co-planning and co-teaching developmentally appropriate curriculum that is aligned with the Vermont Early Learning Standards;
Provides individualized support to children, including those with developmental delays, disabilities, and special needs, in alignment with their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs);
Collaborates closely with families, colleagues, and service providers to ensure optimal support for children;
Maintains a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes the development of social-emotional skills, problem-solving, and independence;
Monitors and assesses children’s progress and uses data to inform instruction and decision-making.
Ensures compliance with Vermont Agency of Education criteria and Vermont Child Care Licensing regulations.
Embraces a commitment to supporting equity, diversity, and family engagement.
