Milton Gottesman Jewish Day School of the Nation's Capital is an independent, community Jewish day school that currently offers a dual curriculum of General and Judaic studies for students in Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 8. Milton Gottesman Jewish Day School is searching for a Math teacher for our Elementary Students for the 2025-2026 school year.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Inspire a love of math in students through teaching.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver lesson plans and instruction in a manner that facilitates active, student-centered learning using various teaching methods such as discussions, group activities, and occasional lectures.
- Work with students to encourage and facilitate each individual's growth.
- Collaborate actively with math department colleagues, including on curriculum and course planning.
- Keep attendance records; manage student behavior in the classroom and maintain a positive educational environment for all students.
- Work in an organized, dependable, patient, and creative manner.
