At Milton Hershey School, we are seeking married couples to join our team as flex houseparents. In this unique role, you will provide a nurturing, family-like environment for students from disadvantaged backgrounds. You will reside in on-campus homes and guide a group of approximately 8-12 students, handling responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, and reporting.

As a flex houseparent, you will be part of a team that provides comprehensive support to our students. You will work closely with other staff members to create a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment. Your role will involve daily devotions, taking students to Sunday chapel services, and modeling integrity and values to our students.
We offer a competitive salary package, including a salary of $43,825 per person (a total compensation package of approx. $150,000 per couple) which includes free housing, meals while on duty, utilities, and more. We also provide comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, paid training, and three weeks of paid summer vacation.
To be successful in this role, you must have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. You and your spouse should be legally married for at least two years, and both spouses should be age 27 or older. You must also be able to lift up to 50 lbs and demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all staff are role models for students.
