Job Summary
We are seeking married couples to become full-time caregivers residing on campus. As a House Parent, you will be responsible for creating a supportive and nurturing environment for approximately 8-12 students. This unique role requires you to work collaboratively with your spouse and other staff members to ensure the well-being and growth of our students.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily care and support to students, including transportation, health management, and meal preparation
- Create a safe and welcoming environment for students to thrive
- Work closely with other staff members to develop and implement strategies to support student success
- Maintain accurate records and reports as required
Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- Must be married and have been legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses should be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Abide by a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Limits on pets; only fish and one dog of approved breeds are permitted
- Valid driver's license; ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Candidates must demonstrate a high degree of integrity
