At Milton Hershey School, we provide a unique opportunity for married couples to become Caregivers for Disadvantaged Youth. As Houseparents, you will reside in on-campus homes and guide a group of 8-12 students, providing a nurturing family-like environment.
The role requires couples who have been legally married for at least two years and are age 27 or older. Both spouses should have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings.
The ideal candidate couple will be comfortable leading daily devotions and taking students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services. A valid driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans are also required.
In this supportive living environment, you will manage daily responsibilities, handle tasks such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, and reporting. You will work closely with the school's staff to ensure the well-being of our students.
