We're looking for a dynamic and compassionate couple to join our team as flex houseparents at Milton Hershey School. If you're passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people and committed to providing a nurturing environment, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities Include:
- Providing individualized support to each student
- Developing and implementing household routines and schedules
- Managing household finances and budgeting
- Coordinating student activities and events
- Communicating effectively with teachers and other staff members
Qualifications:
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- Able to commit to the demands of this role and provide a stable environment for our students
- Both spouses should be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Abide by a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Valid driver's license; ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Couples must be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and take students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services (Note: Proselytizing is prohibited)
