What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caring Couples for Student Care position at Milton Hershey School?
Milton Hershey School is seeking married couples to join our team as Houseparents. As a Houseparent, you and your spouse will provide a nurturing family-like environment for 8-12 students in a residence setting. This is a unique career path that requires consideration and commitment from both spouses.
The ideal candidates will have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses should be age 27 or older, and no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home. We are looking for couples who are comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
As Houseparents, you and your spouse will work together to support students' educational and personal needs while managing household responsibilities. You will also handle tasks such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, and reporting.
