Milton Hershey School provides a supportive environment for couples to become flex houseparents, guiding and mentoring a group of 8-12 students in a residential setting.
Couples will provide a consistent family-like structure for students, handling responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses should be age 27 or older, and no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
As Houseparents, you will be responsible for leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services. You must demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all staff are role models for students.
