As House Parents, you will play a vital role in supporting students' academic and personal growth, helping them develop essential life skills, and preparing them for success in college and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting students in their academic studies and providing additional instruction as needed
- Encouraging students to participate in extracurricular activities and sports teams
- Helping students develop essential life skills, such as cooking, cleaning, and time management
- Providing emotional support and guidance to students, including leading daily devotions and taking students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services
Requirements:
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- A valid driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
