Milton Hershey School is seeking married couples to become part of our dynamic team as Couple Caregivers. As a Couple Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing a nurturing family-like environment for students from disadvantaged backgrounds. Your primary responsibility will be to guide and support a group of approximately 8-12 students, ensuring their well-being and helping them reach their full potential.
About the Role
The Couple Caregiver position requires married couples who have been legally married for at least two years. Both spouses should be age 27 or older and have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. The ideal candidate will be comfortable leading daily devotions and taking students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services. A valid driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans are also required.
Responsibilities
As a Couple Caregiver, your responsibilities will include providing a structured home life, handling daily activities and responsibilities, and guiding students in their personal development. You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy living environment, including adhering to smoke-free and weapon-free campus policies. Additionally, you will need to abide by limitations on pets, only allowing fish and one dog of approved breeds.
