What are the responsibilities and job description for the Couple's Care and Guidance Role position at Milton Hershey School?
Milton Hershey School is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing a world-class education to students from disadvantaged backgrounds. As a flex houseparent, you will play a vital role in helping us achieve this goal.
Your primary responsibility will be to provide a family-like environment for students, managing daily life and activities for a group of 8-12 students. This will involve driving, administering medication, budgeting, and reporting, as well as participating in daily devotions and taking students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
We are looking for married couples who have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses should be age 27 or older, and you must be comfortable living in a smoke-free and weapon-free campus environment. You will also need to abide by our pet policy, which allows only fish and one dog of approved breeds.
