Job Description
The Residential Youth Caregiver position at Milton Hershey School involves residing in on-campus homes as part of a married couple team, providing guidance and support to a small group of students from disadvantaged backgrounds. Responsibilities include educational support, transportation, managing daily needs, and fostering a family-like environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in helping students develop into confident, capable, and compassionate individuals.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, couples must possess a strong foundation of skills and qualifications, including experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses should have been legally married for at least two years, be age 27 or older, and have a high school diploma or GED. Additionally, they must demonstrate a high degree of integrity, have a valid driver's license, and be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and attending Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
