What are the responsibilities and job description for the Couples Career Opportunity in Youth Development position at Milton Hershey School?
Milton Hershey School is seeking married couples to become part of our on-campus family structure team, supporting students from disadvantaged backgrounds. As a couple houseparent, you will provide a consistent and loving environment for a group of approximately 8-12 students, guiding them in daily life and helping them develop essential skills.
As a member of our team, you will be responsible for managing student homes, providing emotional support, and participating in various activities with the students. Your role will play a critical part in shaping the lives of these young individuals, helping them grow into confident and capable adults.
We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a salary of $43,825 per person (a total compensation package of approx. $150,000 per couple), as well as relocation assistance and paid training provided. Our work schedule consists of nine days on followed by three days off, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.
