Milton Hershey School is seeking married couples to become flex houseparents, providing a family-like structure for students and guiding them in their personal growth. This unique career path requires a couple to live on-campus, overseeing 8-12 students, and handling responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, and reporting.
As flex houseparents, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of disadvantaged students, providing a stable and nurturing environment that fosters academic excellence and emotional well-being.
The ideal candidate couple will have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings, and be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services. Both spouses must be age 27 or older, have a high school diploma or GED, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
