Job Description
Couples are needed to become flex houseparents at Milton Hershey School. As a flex houseparent, you will reside in on-campus student homes and guide and nurture a group of approximately 8-12 students. Your role will involve providing a consistent family-like structure for students and handling responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, reporting, etc. Initially, flex houseparents cover different student homes before being assigned to one specific home.
Responsibilities
* Drive students to appointments and activities
* Administer medication as needed
* Budget and manage household expenses
* Report student progress and behavior
Qualifications
* Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
* Must be married couple with at least two years of marriage
* Both spouses should be age 27 or older
* No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
* Valid driver's license; ability to become certified to drive student home vans
