About the Role

The Flex Houseparent position involves guiding and nurturing a group of 8-12 students in a residential setting. You will provide a consistent, family-like structure, handle responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, and ensure a structured living experience for students.

This role is ideal for couples who have been legally married for at least two years and are committed to youth development. As a Flex Houseparent, you will work closely with your spouse to create a safe, loving, and supportive environment for students.

Qualifications

1. Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
2. This is a two-person job for couples who have been legally married for at least two years
3. Both spouses should be age 27 or older
4. No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
5. Abide by a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
6. Valid driver's license; ability to become certified to drive student home vans
7. Candidates must demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all staff are role models for students
