The Youth Development Specialist role at Milton Hershey School is a unique and rewarding position for couples who are passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of students from disadvantaged backgrounds. As a flex houseparent, you will work closely with your partner to provide a stable and nurturing family-like environment for 8-12 students.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily activities, providing guidance and support, and promoting the academic and personal development of our students. This is a two-person job that requires a married couple to work together as a team, using their skills and experience to create a supportive and inclusive home environment.
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- This is a two-person job for couples who have been legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses should be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home

- Salary of $43,825 per person (a total compensation package of approx. $150,000 per couple)
