Becoming a Flex Houseparent at Milton Hershey School
To qualify for this role, you and your spouse must have been legally married for at least two years, be age 27 or older, and have no more than three dependent children living in the student home. You must also be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
As a flex houseparent, you will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment for our students, which may include lifting up to 50 lbs. Candidates must demonstrate a high degree of integrity and be able to work collaboratively with their spouse and other staff members.
