Milton Hershey School is a unique educational institution that provides a career-focused education to students from disadvantaged backgrounds. We are seeking married couples to become flex houseparents, guiding and nurturing a group of approximately 8-12 students in a residential setting.
Job Description
- Reside in on-campus student homes and provide a consistent family-like structure for students
- Handle responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, and reporting
This role requires a commitment to the well-being of students and involves fostering a sense of community and belonging. You will work closely with other residential staff members to create a structured and supportive living environment.
Requirements
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- Both spouses should be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid driver's license; ability to become certified to drive student home vans
