What are the responsibilities and job description for the Couples for Youth Support position at Milton Hershey School?
We are seeking couples who are passionate about education and youth support to join our team as house parents. As a house parent, you and your spouse will provide a nurturing family-like environment for our students, guiding them in daily activities and fostering their personal development. You will reside on-campus and take on responsibilities including supervision, budgeting, and organizing transportation.

Your schedule will consist of nine days on followed by three days off, with a period of personal time while students are at school. You will also enjoy a three-week paid summer vacation.
To be successful in this role, you and your spouse should have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. You should be legally married for at least two years, both spouses should be age 27 or older, and no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home. You must abide by a smoke-free and weapon-free campus and have limitations on pets. A valid driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans are also required.
Candidates must demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all staff are role models for students. Both spouses must complete an individual employment application and be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services. High school diploma or GED is required, and you must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
