Job Description
As a House Parent, you will be responsible for providing a consistent family-like structure for students in our care. This includes handling responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, reporting, and leading daily devotions. You will work closely with your spouse to create a warm and welcoming home environment that promotes academic success and personal growth.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. You and your spouse must have been legally married for at least two years, be at least 27 years old, and have no more than three dependent children residing in the student home. You must also be able to lift up to 50 pounds and demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all staff are role models for students.
Benefits and Perks
In addition to the salary and benefits mentioned above, you will also enjoy a schedule of nine days on followed by three days off, with workdays including a period of personal time while students are at school. You will also receive three weeks of paid summer vacation. We welcome couples who are comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
