What are the responsibilities and job description for the Couples Housing Mentors position at Milton Hershey School?
Milton Hershey School is a world-renowned private school that provides an exceptional education to students from disadvantaged backgrounds. We are seeking married couples to become flex houseparents, providing a family-like environment and guidance to our students.
The successful candidates will reside on-campus in student homes, guiding and nurturing a group of approximately 8-12 students. They will provide a consistent structure, handle household responsibilities, and support the students' academic and personal growth.
We offer a competitive salary of $43,825 per person, resulting in a total compensation package of approximately $150,000 per couple. This includes free housing, meals while on duty, utilities, and more.

The schedule consists of nine days on followed by three days off, with a period of personal time during school hours. Our flex houseparents also receive three weeks of paid summer vacation.
To be eligible for this role, couples must have been legally married for at least two years, both spouses must be age 27 or older, and they should not have more than three dependent children residing in the student home.
Candidates must demonstrate a high degree of integrity, as all staff members serve as role models for our students. The successful applicants will also need to complete individual employment applications and undergo a certification process to drive student home vans.
