What are the responsibilities and job description for the Couples in Residence position at Milton Hershey School?
As a couple living on-campus, you will have the unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our students. You will be responsible for guiding and nurturing a group of approximately 8-12 students, helping them develop essential life skills, and fostering a sense of community and belonging.
Requirements
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- Couples must be legally married for at least two years and both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Ability to abide by a smoke-free and weapon-free campus, with no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Valid driver's license, with ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Candidates must demonstrate a high degree of integrity and be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services
