Job Description: Flex Houseparent

We are seeking a motivated couple to join our team as flex houseparents at Milton Hershey School. As a flex houseparent, you and your spouse will reside in an on-campus student home, guiding and nurturing a group of approximately 8-12 students.

About the Role

This is a unique career opportunity that takes consideration and commitment from both spouses. As a flex houseparent, you will be responsible for providing daily support to our students, including meals, transportation, and homework help. You will also participate in Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services and lead daily devotions.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you and your spouse should have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. You must be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Sunday chapel services. Both spouses must have a high school diploma or GED and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
