Milton Hershey School is seeking married couples to join our team as flex houseparents. In this role, you will provide a nurturing and supportive environment for 8-12 students, ensuring their physical, emotional, and educational needs are met.
This position offers a competitive salary of $43,825 per person, with a total compensation package of approximately $150,000 per couple, which includes free housing, meals while on duty, utilities, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Provide daily care and guidance to students, including transportation, medication administration, and budgeting
- Create a family-like atmosphere in the student home, promoting a sense of belonging and community among students
- Lead daily devotions and take students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services (Note: Proselytizing is prohibited)
Requirements:
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- Legally married couples with at least two years of marriage experience
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older and have a high school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license; ability to become certified to drive student home vans
