What are the responsibilities and job description for the Couples Needed for Youth Support Role position at Milton Hershey School?
Milton Hershey School is seeking married couples to provide a nurturing environment for students from disadvantaged backgrounds. As houseparents, you will manage various responsibilities while living on campus and serve as role models for our students.
The position offers competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and a unique opportunity to positively impact youth. You will be responsible for guiding and nurturing a group of approximately 8-12 students, providing a consistent family-like structure and handling responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, reporting, etc.
Flex houseparents are couples who reside in on-campus student homes. Initially hired, they cover different student homes before being assigned to one specific home. This position requires experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings.
Candidates must demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all staff are role models for students. Both spouses must complete an individual employment application.
