Job Opportunity
We are seeking married couples to become flex houseparents at Milton Hershey School. As a flex houseparent, you will reside in an on-campus student home and guide a group of approximately 8-12 students. Your responsibilities will include driving, administering medication, budgeting, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing guidance and support to students
- Driving students to appointments and activities
- Administering medication and managing student health
- Budgeting and managing household expenses
- Reporting and communicating with school administrators
Requirements
To be successful as a flex houseparent, you must have experience working with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses should be age 27 or older, and no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home. You must also be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
Qualifications:
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Couple relationship: married for at least two years
- Age requirement: both spouses 27 or older
- Limited dependent children allowed
- Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel attendance required
