Milton Hershey School is seeking a unique couple to join our team as Youth Development Specialists. This role involves residing in on-campus student homes and providing a family-like environment for groups of students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
The ideal candidate will have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses should be age 27 or older and have been legally married for at least two years.
A key responsibility of the position is maintaining a safe and healthy living environment. This includes administering medications, handling logistics, and ensuring that all necessary tasks are completed in a timely manner.
Candidates must also be comfortable leading daily devotions and taking students to Sunday chapel services. Additionally, they should be able to lift up to 50 lbs and have a valid driver's license.
We offer a competitive salary of $43,825 per person, along with comprehensive benefits and relocation assistance. Our unique schedule allows for nine days on followed by three days off, with a period of personal time while students are at school.
