Milton Hershey School is a world-renowned private school that provides exceptional education and support to students from disadvantaged backgrounds. As a Youth Development Specialist, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing family-like environment for our students, guiding and supporting them through their academic and personal journeys.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with youth, preferably from under-served settings, and be part of a married couple who can work together to provide daily care and support to 8-12 students. This unique role requires flexibility, strong communication skills, and a commitment to the development and well-being of our students.
We offer a competitive salary of $43,825 per person (total compensation package of approx. $150,000 per couple), comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, paid training, and a generous summer vacation package.
To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate excellent leadership skills, be comfortable leading daily devotions and taking students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services, and adhere to our smoke-free and weapon-free campus policy. You will also be required to maintain a valid driver's license and become certified to drive student home vans.
