We are seeking married couples to become Flex Houseparents, playing a vital role in nurturing and guiding a group of students in our on-campus homes.
About the Role:
This unique opportunity allows couples to make a significant impact in the lives of our students while enjoying comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, and a competitive salary. As Flex Houseparents, you will provide guidance, structure, and support to approximately 8-12 students, creating a positive atmosphere and promoting their overall well-being.
Responsibilities:
• Reside in on-campus student homes with your spouse
• Guide and nurture a group of students, providing a consistent family-like environment
• Manage daily activities, including driving, administering medication, and budgeting
• Handle reporting duties and other responsibilities as assigned
Benefits:
• Salary: $43,825 per person (total compensation package of approx. $150,000 per couple)
• Comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance
• Relocation assistance and paid training provided
• Schedule of nine days on followed by three days off
• Three-week paid summer vacation
Qualifications:
• Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
• This is a two-person job for couples who have been legally married for at least two years
• Both spouses should be age 27 or older
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
• Ability to abide by a smoke-free and weapon-free campus policy
