Couples Youth Support Specialist

The Milton Hershey School is a world-renowned private school providing an exceptional education to students from disadvantaged backgrounds. Our mission is to give students the tools they need to succeed in life, and we're looking for dedicated couples to join our team as Flex Houseparents.

We're seeking married couples who are passionate about youth development and want to make a positive impact in the lives of our students. As Flex Houseparents, you'll provide a nurturing environment, guiding and supporting our students as they navigate their academic and personal journeys.

As a Flex Houseparent, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing daily care and support to a group of 8-12 students
• Managing household responsibilities, including meal planning, cleaning, and maintenance
• Transporting students to and from activities, appointments, and other events
• Participating in student devotions and attending Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services

To be successful as a Flex Houseparent, you'll need:

• Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
• A high school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
• Candidates must demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all staff are role models for students

We offer a competitive salary of $43,825 per person (a total compensation package of approx. $150,000 per couple), comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, and paid training. You'll also enjoy a schedule of nine days on followed by three days off, as well as three-week paid summer vacation.
