Compensation and Benefits Package
Couples in this role receive a competitive salary of $43,825 per person, with a total compensation package of approximately $150,000 per couple, including free housing, meals while on duty, utilities, and more. Comprehensive benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, health savings and flexible spending accounts, life insurance, disability options, and retirement savings. Additionally, relocation assistance and paid training are provided.
Responsibilities and Requirements
Flex houseparents at Milton Hershey School provide a nurturing family-like environment for students from under-served settings. Responsibilities include driving, budgeting, and medication administration, among others. Both spouses should have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. A valid driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans are also required.
