Job Description
As a Residential Youth Caregiver, you will be part of a married couple living on-campus to guide and nurture groups of 8-12 students from disadvantaged backgrounds. Your role will involve:
- Driving students to appointments and activities
- Administering medication as needed
- Creating a family-like environment for students
You will work a schedule of nine days on followed by three days off, with a period of personal time while students are at school. You will also have three weeks of paid summer vacation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- A valid driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- A high school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Demonstrated integrity and commitment to leading students in daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services
