Milton Hershey School is seeking married couples to join our team as Houseparents. This role offers a unique opportunity to nurture and guide disadvantaged students as they grow and develop. As Houseparents, couples will provide a nurturing family-like environment, managing household responsibilities, including transportation and healthcare needs. They will help students develop essential life skills and values, preparing them for success in life.

Responsibilities and Qualifications
As Houseparents, couples will be responsible for guiding a group of approximately 8-12 students. They will provide a consistent family-like structure, handling responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, and reporting. They will also lead daily devotions and take students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services. Initially, they will cover different student homes before being assigned to one specific home. This role requires couples who are comfortable working together as a team and are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others.

Requirements and Eligibility
To be eligible for this role, couples must meet certain requirements. They should have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses should be age 27 or older, and no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home. Couples must abide by a smoke-free and weapon-free campus and limit their pets to fish and one dog of approved breeds. Valid driver's licenses are required, and both spouses must become certified to drive student home vans.
