What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dedicated Youth Support Staff position at Milton Hershey School?
Milton Hershey School is committed to providing an exceptional career-focused education to students from disadvantaged backgrounds. As a result, we are seeking dedicated married couples to serve as House Parents.
The House Parents will live in on-campus homes and provide a supportive family environment for approximately 8-12 students. Their primary responsibility is to ensure the academic and social growth of these students, while also maintaining a safe and healthy living space.
The successful candidates will receive a competitive salary of $43,825 per person, totaling a compensation package of approximately $150,000 per couple. Comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, are also provided.
In addition to their core responsibilities, House Parents will participate in paid training and enjoy three-week paid summer vacations. They will work a schedule of nine days on followed by three days off, allowing for personal time while students are at school.
