Milton Hershey School is seeking couples to become flex houseparents, providing a family-like environment for our students. As a houseparent, you will work alongside your spouse to create a supportive and nurturing space for approximately 8-12 students.
This role offers a competitive salary of $43,825 per person, resulting in a total compensation package of approx. $150,000 per couple. The package includes free housing, meals while on duty, utilities, and more.
As a houseparent, you will be responsible for guiding and supporting students in their daily lives, including driving, administering medication, budgeting, and reporting. You will also have the opportunity to lead students in daily devotions and take them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
To be successful in this role, you and your spouse should have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. You should also be comfortable living in a smoke-free and weapon-free campus, with limitations on pets.
