Milton Hershey School is seeking married couples to join our team as Family Home Providers. As a Family Home Provider, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing environment for students from disadvantaged backgrounds in our on-campus student homes.
Responsibilities
You will support and guide a group of 8-12 students, taking on responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, and budgeting. You will also provide a consistent family-like structure for students and handle responsibilities such as reporting.
Qualifications
We are looking for couples who have been legally married for at least two years, with experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses should be age 27 or older and have a high school diploma or GED.
We offer a competitive salary of $43,825 per person, which includes a total compensation package of approximately $150,000 per couple. Our benefits include comprehensive health insurance, life insurance, disability options, and retirement savings. We also offer relocation assistance and paid training.
We are committed to providing a smoke-free and weapon-free campus, and we abide by a policy of no alcohol while on duty. We welcome pets, but only fish and one dog of approved breeds are permitted.
