About the Requirements
Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings, is essential. Couples must have been legally married for at least two years, be age 27 or older, and not have more than three dependent children residing in the student home. They must abide by a smoke-free and weapon-free campus, with no alcohol permitted while on duty. Only fish and one dog of approved breeds are allowed as pets. Valid driver's licenses and the ability to become certified to drive student home vans are required. Both spouses must be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services. High school diplomas or GEDs are necessary, as well as the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Candidates must demonstrate a high degree of integrity.
