Job Description
The Youth Development Specialist position at Milton Hershey School involves serving as flex houseparents, providing care and guidance to students in need. This role includes supervising student homes, administering medication, and participating in daily activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, couples must have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses should be age 27 or older, and no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
Candidates must demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all staff are role models for students. Both spouses must complete an individual employment application.
Benefits
This role offers a competitive salary of $43,825 per person (total compensation package of approx. $150,000 per couple), comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, paid training, and a schedule of nine days on followed by three days off.
