Job Summary
We are seeking married couples to join our team as Flex House Parents. As a Flex House Parent, you will provide a family-like environment for 8-12 students, guiding and nurturing them while handling daily responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, and reporting. This is a unique career path that requires consideration and commitment from both spouses.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position is $43,825 per person, resulting in a total compensation package of approximately $150,000 per couple. Additionally, we offer comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, health savings and flexible spending accounts, life insurance, disability options, and retirement savings. We also provide relocation assistance and paid training.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. You and your spouse must be legally married for at least two years, be age 27 or older, and have no more than three dependent children residing in the student home. You must also abide by our smoke-free and weapon-free campus policy and limitations on pets.
Responsibilities
As a Flex House Parent, your responsibilities will include leading daily devotions, taking students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services, and managing daily household responsibilities. You will also be responsible for driving student home vans and completing an individual employment application.
