What are the responsibilities and job description for the Family Care Coordinators position at Milton Hershey School?
Milton Hershey School is seeking a unique opportunity for married couples to join our team as Family Care Coordinators. In this role, you will reside on campus in a student home and provide a nurturing environment for 8-12 students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
As a Family Care Coordinator, you will be responsible for guiding and supporting your assigned group of students, providing a consistent family-like structure and handling various responsibilities such as transportation, medication administration, budgeting, and reporting. You will also cover different student homes before being assigned to one specific home.
This is a two-person job for couples who have been legally married for at least two years. No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home. Both spouses must complete an individual employment application.
The ideal candidate will have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. They must be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services. A high school diploma or GED is required, and both spouses must demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all staff are role models for students.
