Milton Hershey School is seeking experienced family care providers to fill the role of houseparents. In this position, you will be responsible for providing a nurturing and structured home environment for students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
As a houseparent, you will reside in a student home with your spouse, overseeing 8-12 students at a time. This includes handling various responsibilities such as transportation, budgeting, and ensuring the well-being of each student.
The ideal candidate will have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses must be age 27 or older and have been legally married for at least two years.
A valid driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans are also required. Couples must be comfortable leading daily devotions and taking students to Sunday chapel services. High school diploma or GED is necessary, and candidates must demonstrate a high degree of integrity.
