Milton Hershey School is seeking experienced family care providers to work with underprivileged students in a family-like setting. As a family care provider, you will guide a group of 8-12 students, managing daily tasks such as transportation, medication administration, and budgeting. This role requires experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. You should be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and take them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services. Candidates must demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all staff are role models for students.
The compensation package includes a salary of $43,825 per person, comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, and paid training. You will also have the opportunity to work on a flexible schedule of nine days on followed by three days off, with three weeks paid summer vacation. To be eligible, couples must have been legally married for at least two years, both spouses must be age 27 or older, and they should have no more than three dependent children residing in the student home.
