About the Role
The houseparent position at Milton Hershey School is a unique opportunity for married couples to work together and make a real difference in the lives of our students. As a houseparent, you will be responsible for guiding and supporting a group of 8-12 students, helping them to develop essential life skills and achieve their full potential.
This is a residential role, which means you will live in one of our student homes with your partner and the students. You will work together as a team to create a warm and welcoming environment that supports the students' academic, emotional, and social development.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing household tasks and maintaining a clean and safe living environment
- Participating in educational and social activities, such as homework help and recreational activities
- Being available to support the students at all times, including evenings and weekends
